Whats Crude Palm Oil (CPO) ?

Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is the oil obtained from the mesocarp part of palm oil fruit (see picture). Shows the process undergone by fresh fruit bunch (FFB) to produced CPO. The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Produced is further processed to yield  either red or bleched cooking oil and detergent.

Below shows the Composition of mesocarp where the oil account for 39% of the overall composition. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) si obtained from the mesocarp part of palm oil fruit after undergoing through several process such as sterilization process, stripping, extraction and purification.
